Conversing with AI is no longer a distinguishing skill; it has become a baseline expectation. The practitioner who merely prompts a chatbot occupies the same competitive position as any other individual who has discovered the same tool, for the barrier to entry is now negligible and the resulting advantage correspondingly small.
The more consequential question confronting today's engineers, analysts, and researchers is not whether one can converse with an AI model, but whether one can design, deploy, and reason about the systems that make such intelligence possible in the first place. It is precisely this distinction — between consumption and construction — that will separate those who merely adapt to the AI transition from those who come to define it.
It is in direct response to this widening gap between casual AI usage and applied AI competency that NVIDIA returns to Manila next month with its AI Developer Bootcamp. Convened as an intensive three-day academic and technical immersion, the program is designed to cultivate not familiarity with artificial intelligence, but genuine fluency in its underlying architecture.
As NVIDIA Deep Learning Ambassador, I extend an invitation to those prepared to move beyond surface-level AI literacy and toward the disciplined study and construction of intelligent systems — the foundations of deep learning, the methodology of prompt engineering, and the emerging craft of AI-assisted software development through Claude Code. Participants who complete this program will be positioned not merely as users of artificial intelligence, but as the individuals capable of building and sustaining an organization's AI infrastructure.
Program Details:
- Date: October 9-11, 2026
- Venue: De La Salle University, Manila Campus
- Deadline for Applications: September 26, 2026
Pre-Requisites:
- Academic Background: Collegiate-level engineering mathematics, together with a willingness to engage in foundational coding principles
- Technologies: Python, Pandas, Pytorch, LangChain, Gemini, Claude Code
- Hardware: Desktop or Laptop with current Chrome or Firefox; dedicated access to a fully configured, GPU-accelerated cloud workstation
Program Schedule:
- Day 0 (October 3): Python and Data-Handling Fundamentals
- Day 1 (October 9): Fundamentals of Deep Learning
- Day 2 (October 10): Building LLMs with Prompt Engineering
- Day 3 (October 11): AI-assisted Coding with Claude Code
This bootcamp remains, to date, the only program of its kind offered in the Philippines, and enrollment will close within the month. Applicants who secure their slots ahead of the deadline will additionally be afforded a fifteen percent (15%) tuition waiver, in recognition of their early commitment to this course of study.
Those prepared to undertake this transition — from the casual application of artificial intelligence toward its rigorous study and construction — are encouraged to complete their pre-registration through the link below
